New: Special Conditions with Mollie
As one of the most flexible ticketing softwares, pretix has a lot of advantages. This includes the possibility for organizers to choose between a wide range of payment providers and connect them independently. Among others, reliability, data security and payment fees are important factors for deciding which provider to choose. Therefore we are exited to announce our new partnership with Mollie, offering our pretix Hosted customers attractive conditions since 1. December 2024.
Great conditions
As an established Dutch company, Mollie is a payment provider based in the EU with various payment options, from credit card payments and local payment methods to bank transfer. Mollie usually sends the collected money to the specified bank account after just a few days, so event organisers receive their earnings quickly and securely in their own account. This means fast and secure payment options for ticket buyers as well as prompt processing and a reliable infrastructure for events of every size.
In addition, highly discounted conditions apply for pretix Hosted customers, while the actual discout depends on the used payment method. Organizers benefit of a discounted fee which makes Mollie one of the most cost-effective payment provider currently implementable with pretix. For example: Within the EU for payments via Visa and Mastercard this is €0.157 per transaction plus 1.3% of the payment amount, for payments with American Express 1.5% in addition to the same fixed fee. Easy to use
For organizers this means they just have to activate the Mollie plugin and connect their pretix shop with Mollie in order to use the new conditions. All they need is their own Mollie account.
Good to know: Organizers who already use Mollie as payment provider also get the new discount since 1. December. This works completely automatically. Mollie recognizes the connection to pretix on its own and calculates the reduced fees. By doing so, Mollie complements exactly what pretix is all about: simple, fast and secure ticketing.
