If you have reliable internet access at your venue, our scanning app can directly check every scan with the pretix server, making absolutely sure no ticket is scanned twice. However if you don't, you can switch the app to offline mode and continue scanning without interruption, while the app will synchronize all scans with the server in the background whenever an internet connection is available.
Tired of searching name tags when attendees check in? Speed up your check-in process by printing badges live as soon as attendees check in. You can use our simple layout editor to design your badges and then connect our scanning app a printer. With our Desktop app, you can use nearly any printer, with our Android app, most networked printers work. Need hardware? We've got you covered.
If you need to gather additional information during check-in, for example how many attendees will join a social program, you can configure questions that your check-in staff needs to fill in after every scan. You will see the answers live in the pretix backend.
